San Francisco isn’t the only city hosting a CRAFT: 07 Release Party this weekend–there’s also a fun make-and-take happening in Boston at Greenward, a fabulous eco-friendly boutique in Cambridge. I discovered the gorgeous work of The Mymble’s Daughter over at decor8 yesterday.
The etsy shop features everything from delicate looking lockets to thaumatropes…You know the two sided disk, usually made of paper, with one part of an image on one side, the other on the reverse. When spun, the two images combine. They were very popular in the Victorian era and just so I’m sure you know what I’m talking about here is an example:
